MassCEC seeks proposals to fund projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and/or mitigate impacts of climate change at public K-12 schools. MassCEC encourages districts to take advantage of this funding opportunity to modernize their school buildings while reducing fossil fuel and energy use.
The deadline for this RFP is Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

To complete your application you will need to have the following documents:
- A signed copy of Attachment A (Authorized Signature and Acceptance Form)
- Team member resumes
- Optional: Energy use data for the project site building(s) for the past 2 years
- Optional: Mass Save comprehensive building assessment (“CBA”), investment-level audit, or equivalent building study to ensure that the proposed approaches are the best for decarbonization
- Optional: Project plans, narratives, drawings, and/or other project documents
