Theme: CONNECT

NASILC is excited to announce our 2025 SILC Congress in Orlando, Florida! SILC Congress will be held March 11-13 and will run from 9 AM to 4:30 PM all three days. A preconference of SILC 101 will be held on the afternoon of Monday, March 10th, 2025. 

The theme of this years conference is CONNECT - Collaborate, Organize, Network, Navigate, Empower, Create, and Transform. Priority will be given to workshop proposals that address these topics.

Please complete the entire proposal application and submit by October 31, 2024.

Length of Workshop Sessions: All sessions will be 90 minutes, including peer sharing opportunities.

Type of Workshop Session: Sessions can be a general session or breakout including panels or a single presenters.

All presenters must pay the full conference registration fee and make their own travel arrangements.

I understand that if we intend to show presentation slides during our session, presentation slides will be emailed to NASILC by Feburary 1, 2025 for conversion to accessible formats and sharing with conference interpreters, CART writers, and attendees.

I understand that any materials including graphics or pictures MUST include alt text and be described during the session. 

I understand that if we intend to give hand-out materials, they will also be provided in accessible formats.
