  • APTA Pelvic Health is Seeking CSM 2025 Room Monitors & Booth Volunteers

    The Academy is looking for members to volunteer as room monitors or assist at the booth for the Academy's programming at CSM. The room monitor will introduce the speaker and make general announcements. This individual will also make sure nobody is video recording the session and that no personal marketing of courses or products is being done. Booth volunteers will represent and engage with current and prospective members at our booth. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow PT professionals and learn more about the Academy's initiatives.     Requirements:

    • You must be a current APTA Pelvic Health Academy member
    • You must be a registered attendee of CSM 2025

    • CSM Room Monitor Responsibilities

      • Arrive to the assigned session 15 minutes before the start time.
        Ensure the assigned conference room is set up and organized before the start of each session.
      • Greet and assist attendees as they enter the room, providing directions or answering any questions.
      • Introduce the speaker(s) and session title.
      • Monitor the session's schedule, ensuring it starts and ends on time.
      • Assist speakers with any technical setup or audiovisual equipment needs.
      • Address any disruptive behavior or disturbances, maintaining a calm and professional atmosphere.
      • Ensure that speakers do not use session time to self-promote or endorse companies and products.
      • Ensure attendees are not video recording the session presentation.
      • Be comfortable with saying no and directing people accordingly (e.g. ensure people are not sitting on the floor if the session is full, tell speakers they cannot pass out digital or printed brochures or advertise themselves and their services during their session, report to the CSM Chair and CSM Assistant Chair if there are any self-promotions)
      • Coordinate with event staff to address any logistical issues or requests during the session.
      • Ensure the room is clean and tidy after the session concludes, ready for the next scheduled activity.

      • Watch the orientation video before CSM
