General Burning Guidelines
Only natural materials may be burned. Absolutely no building materials of any kind may be burned. This includes dimensional lumber and plywood, roofing materials etc.
Fires should be kept to a manageable size and burning should take place during daylight hours if possible.
Maintain a safe distance from all structures and combustible materials.
Avoid windy conditions.
Have a water source close by. (Water hose, buckets ect.)
It is not necessary to obtain a burn permit for a recreational fire. (Check Local Ordinance for definition and/or size limits)
Forest Green Estates: By ordinance, there is NO open burning in the subdivision or on any property directly adjacent, this includes fire pits with screens or covers.
