2025 LYO Assembly Registration

We are so excited to welcome you and your congregation's youth to the 2025 LYO Assembly! Our Theme this year is LYOlympics: 5 ways to Live Like Jesus. Our LYO board has worked hard to prepare a theme connected to each of the 5 Olympic Rings as they help other youth learn what it means to live out their faith and live like Jesus today. We will have large group time, small group time, games, meals, a dance, some free time, and lots of fun all planned by 9 high school youth from across our synod who serve on our LYO Board.

Notes for adults bringing youth: all adults in attendance MUST have either a Safe Gathering Certification or provide proof of other background check and training approved by the church. Before you register your youth we recommend having a meeting with them to tell them about LYO and to ask them if any of them might like to lead a small group in conversation.

Because we have limited space there is an additional $100 charge per night ($200 total) for adults who request a single room. We highly recommend reaching out to other adult leaders to see if you can partner up to save on these costs.

In addition to this form each group needs to have the group covenant completed as well as the parent waiver for each particpant.

COSTS FOR LYO THIS YEAR are as Follows:

Early Bird Before January 1, 2025: $180

After January 1, 2025: $200

T-shirts: $12

 

NOTE: You will have to add your room assignment document at the end of this registration. Please have that ready. Click here to access an example form that also has some pages you can fill out to make the process easier for you. 

 

We will do our best to honor your room assignment list. If for some reason we cannot, Lexi Barnhill will contact you. Please create your housing requests based on the following information: 

• Double Room with Sleeper Sofa - 6 youth or 4 youth and 1 adult 
• King Room with Sleeper Sofa - 4 youth or 2 youth and 1 adult
• PLEASE NOTE! We have a limited number of double rooms, the majority of your housing should be based on King Rooms.  However, if an adult is in the room, they MUST be in a room with at least 3 youth to make sure they are always in ratio. 
• For adults: there is an additional $100 cost per night ($200 total) for a single room, we recommend partnering with another congregation and sharing with their adults. Please make sure to note any of your adults who have chosen a single room on your room assignment form.
• Please put every person’s first AND last name on your room assignment list.
  Tell your youth upfront that they are going to have to share a bed. We will not make them share a bed with someone outside of their youth group. 
• Please mark on your housing sheet if there is extra room and if those youth would be okay sharing their room with youth from another church

Tip from a veteran adult leader: Unless your insurance or church requires it, there does not need to be an adult in every room. We have had to have a male adult in a room with our younger boys but otherwise they can be roomed together or separately.
