    Please complete the form below to apply for a Junior Counselor (JC) or Volunteer position during the summer of 2026. All dates subject to change date, time, and location. Junior Counselors must be rising 12th graders who have completed CIT 1&2 or have relevant leadership experience. Camp Volunteers must be 18+.     Checking event availability does not guarantee a volunteer spot. If you volunteer for a session where a family member is present, you will not be placed with their unit. A member of the Program team will reach out based on your selections.

  • Mandatory Trainings

    All Junior Counselors and Adult Volunteers are required to complete trainings to review emergency action plans, scheduling, and the skills needed to provide a safe and fun camp experience. Once your application is accepted, we’ll share the exact training dates and times.By signing below, you agree to make your best effort to attend all mandatory trainings. If you are unable to attend, you will communicate with council to receive the necessary information beforehand. Trainings may be held in person or via Zoom, with advance notice provided.

The program team will review all applications and contact you within 5 business days. If offered a position, you must follow the GSGST Volunteer Guidelines, which ensure the safety and well-being of children at all events.
