  • Dear Deaf Participant,

DPAN.tv is eager to learn how our approach to providing access to the Presidential Debates— specifically through Deaf Interpreters in 2020 and 2024
    — has impacted you.

This brief three-question survey should take about five minutes of your time. Your feedback is important and will help us improve access for the Deaf community in future political events.

    Thank you for your participation!

  • First Question

  • We're glad you selected yes!

Watching DPAN.tv’s coverage with Deaf Interpreters helped me:

  • Second Question:
Do you prefer to see 3 interpreters all the time, or cut to one interpreter while a candidate is talking?

    Question explained
In 2016 and 2020 DPAN streamed 3 interpreters on the livestream
for the entire broadcast with no cuts.

The image below shows 3 interpreters.

In 2024 DPAN added a feature to spotlight one interpreter when a candidate was talking and showing 3 interpreters while moderator was talking. The image below shows 1 interpreter signing for Kamala Harris.
