  • CFDA 121st Annual Convention Call for Presentations

    The California Funeral Directors Association (CFDA) is currently accepting presentation proposals for their 2026 Annual Convention. Submissions should be thought-provoking, innovative, and practical and should focus on helping funeral businesses achieve higher levels of performance and service to families. Sessions should provide interactive opportunities for learning and include how-to content, best business practices, and diverse perspectives.

    This year's convention will be held from June 14-16, 2026, at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines. 

    Please review the following guidelines before submitting your proposal. All proposals must be received by completing this submission form. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The deadline to submit is September 30, 2025.

    Selection Notification

    Speakers will be notified of CFDA’s decision regarding submitted proposals in November 2025. Presentations are scheduled for Monday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 16. Upon acceptance as a speaker, a detailed outline of your presentation and a headshot photo will be requested. Additional details on presentation requirements and due dates will be provided to accepted speakers.

    To keep registration costs affordable for its members, all requests for travel, lodging and speaking fees may be considered and are subject to approval by the CFDA Board of Directors.
