Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at Green City Market (GCM)! We receive hundreds of prospective vendor inquiries each year. Our official 2025 application is invitation-only. Starting January 16, 2025, we are no longer accepting prospective vendor forms for the 2025 season. Forms submitted after this date will be evaluated for consideration in the 2026 season, beginning January 2026.
Vendors who have previously been accepted into our market will automatically receive access to the 2025 application and do not need to submit this form.
For prospective vendors who may have missed the deadline, we encourage you to visit the Chicago Farmers Market Collective (CFMC) form to explore opportunities with other farmers markets in the area and get connected to the local food community.

Part of Green City Market's mission is to support sustainable farmers in the Midwest. Therefore, we require vendors to participate in indepth sourcing directly from local, sustainable farmers that may be different than other markets in the area. What is the difference between the Prospective Vendor Form and the Vendor Application?
The Prospective Vendor Form allows GCM staff to prescreen prospective vendors to ensure alignment with GCM's nonprofit mission and sourcing standards. If a prospective vendor is invited to the Vendor Application, the Vendor Application requires the vendor to provide additional documentation to ensure market regulations, legal business and food safety compliance. Pending the type of vendor you are applying as, this may include sales tax documentation, insurance coverage, third-party sustainability certification, food processing license, and/or ingredients lists.
