Maternal Minds, a not-for-profit organization that supports the mental health and well-being of Muslim mothers and families, is seeking a Lead Project Coordinator. This key role will focus on expanding Maternal Minds' capacity to serve the community through innovative, culturally responsive programs. Learn more about us at maternalminds.org.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the capacity-building project to scale Maternal Minds' impact.
-Develop sustainable management procedures and organizational frameworks to clarify roles and responsibilities.
-Design and implement procedures for recruitment, outreach, intake, workplace culture, accessibility
-Create and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, and milestones.
-Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to assess organizational needs, identify gaps, and develop tailored solutions.
-Cultivate and manage relationships with partners and community organizations to build strategic alliances and enhance project outcomes.
-Align all project initiatives with Maternal Minds' mission and the evolving needs of Muslim mothers and families.
-Oversee project evaluations and reporting to ensure long-term growth and organizational success.
-Work closely with the project manager to supervise staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Non-Profit Management, Women’s Studies, Social Work, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Muslim community needs
At least 2 years of experience managing community development projects.
Demonstrated success in project management, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
Experience working with culturally diverse communities and a commitment to culturally sensitive practices.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Knowledge of mental health services and the specific needs of Muslim families is a plus.
