Lifetime Breeding Right (LBR): $3,000 Three Thousand Dollars

One Time Breeding Right:  $1500 One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars

$225.00 Two Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars for live cover, per time

Culture and cytology of mare is required prior to live cover breeding

This agreement is by and between CJ Thoroughbreds (Stallion owner) and mare owner as indicated:

1. This is a contract for the 2025 breeding season and subsequent years if Lifetime Breeding Rights.

2. Mare owner must contact stallion owner when mare foals.

3. The mare shall be in a healthy and sound breeding condition, free from infections, contagious or transmissible disease and all shots given for the health and protection of the mare and unborn foal. 

4. Proof of negative Coggins test and vaccinations required before mares will be accepted for breeding.

5. Mare owner agrees to have mare ultrasounded 14-17 days after the last day of insemination and notify stallion owner of pregnancy status promptly. (Need this info for breeding report.)

6. By signing this contract, mare owner certifies that he/she is the sole owner of the abovementioned mare or has authority to enter into the contract on behalf of the owner. This Contract is non assignable. Breeder strongly recommends the Mare Owner carry full insurance on mare and/or foal.

7. Mare owner may not assign this breeding contract or substitute any other mare under this agreement without stallion owner's written or verbal permission. Any attempt at assignment without the consent of the stallion owner will terminate this agreement and release the stallion owner of any and all obligations.

8. A photocopy of front and back of the mare’s registration papers must be furnished with this contract.

9. It is understood that if the above stallion dies or becomes unfit for service, or is sold by the owner before a pregnancy, this contract shall become null and void (does not apply if the mare is in foal).

10. Both parties agree that CJ Thoroughbreds, DeLancey Enterprises, LLC, the Breeder, their agents, or employees are not liable for death, sickness and/or accidents. MUST INITIAL BELOW TO ACKNOWLEDGE.  

11. This contract is entered into Wyoming and will be interpreted and enforced under the laws of the State of Wyoming. This Contract represents the entire agreement between the parties. No other agreements or promises, verbal or implied, are included unless specifically stated in the written Contract. When Mare Owner and Breeder sign this Contract, it will then be binding on both parties.

12. Please sign below, and attach a copy of front and back of mare’s registration papers and return to Cowboy State Equine, LLC 1806 Torrington Rd. Cheyenne, WY 82009. 

This contract details the terms and conditions of your purchase of a Lifetime Breeding Right (LBR) to the Thoroughbred Stallion Dennis’ Moment from CJ Thoroughbreds and Eugene Joyce: 

 The purchase price for a one time breeding right will be $1500, which must be received within 30 days of the birth of a live foal who stands and nurses. The purchase price for a lifetime breeding right will be $3,000, which must be received within 30 days of the completion of this contract.

 

LIFETIME BREEDING RIGHT (LBR)

 The buyer shall be entitled to breed two (2) mares to Dennis’ Moment for
free for the 2025 breeding season.

 Beginning in 2026, the buyer shall be entitled to breed annually one mare to
Dennis’ Moment for free for the breeding life of the stallion.

 The (LBR) will not obligate the buyer for any expenses associated with the
stallion.

 The LBR shall not entitle the buyer to an ownership interest in Dennis’
Moment or any share of future stallion awards.

 The buyer shall be responsible for all pre-determined costs with the farm
for boarding and other breeding costs.

 The LBR is transferrable.

 

ONE TIME BREEDING RIGHT

 The buyer shall be entitled to breed one (1) mare to Dennis’ Moment for the 2025 breeding season. The purchase price for a one time breeding right will be $1500, which must be received within 30 days of the birth of a live foal who stands and nurses.
