I. GENERAL TERMS
* I hold the right to refuse any request that may be uncomfortable or offensive to me.
* Clear and concise references must be provided to me by the client.
* The displayed base prices are subject to change according to the complexity of each individual piece and will be discussed with each potential client before an invoice is sent.
* This is a Digital Commission, so no hard copy shall be provided, and shipping is not required.
* I reserve the right to cancel and refund commissions for any reason, at any time.
* Submitting a commission form does not automatically guarantee a commission slot. Slots are chosen on a case by case basis.
* If I do not hear back from the client within 30 days of contact, your slot with be forfeited and given to someone else.
II. PAYMENT
* Payments must be in USD via PayPal invoice only, to protect both the artist and client.
* Payment must be made in full before I start to work on the commission. Payment must be received within 48 hours before I cancel the commission and offer your slot to someone else.
* Tipping is not required, but appreciated regardless!
III. PROCESS
* To request a commission, you may email me, message me through social media, or submit a Commission Form. These completed forms will be considered first.
* I will provide Work In Progress (WIP) updates through your provided contact at various stages of the process, to make sure they are to the client’s liking. You have the right to request minor corrections for free, but if major changes are to be made late into production, I may request further payment before proceeding.
* In an effort to make sure all commissions can be completed within a timely manner, I will only offer 5 Commission Slots at a time.
* In the event that you would like to request a commission before a slot is available, you may email or message me through social media, and I will give you the option of being placed on a waiting list to be contacted when commissions are available again. No payment is required to be placed on this waiting list.
* I will do my best to have your commission completed within 2-3 months after payment has been received. Wait time may be dependent on your place in the queue and how much work needs to be done.
* If unforeseen problems come up in my personal life that prevent me from completing the artwork in a timely manner, I will do my best to notify you and give you an updated timeframe.
* If the commissioned work is time-sensitive, the client must discuss the deadline with me before an invoice is sent. An additional fee may be required due to giving your commission priority. I reserve the right to turn down any deadline that I do not believe I can reasonably accommodate.
IV. COPYRIGHT AND USAGE POLICY
* If you are planning to print your commission out for personal use, I am willing to work within a certain file size at your request. (for example: 17x11in, 300dpi)
* Unless previously stated otherwise, you, the client, hold the right to use the copyrighted artwork for PERSONAL USE ONLY. You may resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in non-commercial digital format, but you may not alter the artwork itself. You may repost the artwork to your personal social media accounts ONLY with proper credit given to me. Credit must include links back to my social media, not just my name.
* If you wish to use your commission for business purposes, this will require an additional business use fee. Business use includes anything that will be sold for financial gain or used in advertising. Some examples of these are: site banners, designs that will be printed on products, packaging designs, etc. In addition to the business use fee, I may ask to recieve royalty fees for any monetary gain using my artwork. Terms for such an agreement will be discussed with the client before the invoice is sent.
* I as the artist hold the right to the produced artwork to display or publish anywhere, such as to post on social media or use in my portfolio. If the commissioned work is a time-sensitive gift, you may request that I delay public showcase until the specified date.
* If you reproduce or use the artwork commercially, take credit for the artwork, remove any watermarks/signatures, or alter the artwork without my consent it will be considered a violation of these terms and you will not be allowed to commission me again/may face legal repurcussions.
V. REFUNDS
* A full refund is only permitted if it is requested before I have started working on your commission.
* If you are unsatisfied with my work and would like to cancel your commission during the WIP phase, email me and we may discuss terms for a partial refund depending on where I am in each stage of creation (thumbnails, sketch, color, etc.)
* A refund after the commission has been fully completed is not permitted.
The client must read, understand, and agree to all of the above terms before commissioning me. Violation of these terms may result in the client losing the rights to any artwork I have created for you in the past, as well as the ability to commission me in the future.
Any statement may be bound to change if discussed with me, the artist, prior to the commission.
