Girl Scout Product Programs Opt-Out Agreement

Attention Girl Scout Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Troops! Would your troop like to earn $0.10 more for each item you sell instead of receiving individual girl recognitions?

For the 2025 Cookie Program, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada is offering Girl Scout Cadette, Senior and Ambassador troops the option to earn $0.10 more for each box sold instead of receiving cumulative individual recognitions. Each girl will only receive product program patches if opting-out.

To participate in the "Opt-Out" option, the vote by the girls in the troop must be unanimous and each Girl Scout's caregiver must agree. The signature of each girl and a caregiver is required. To have a valid "Opt-Out" agreement, the following qualifications must be met:

1. Troop Must have 2 unrelated registered adults with cleared background checks & open in the Troop Catalog for girls to join if minimum number of girls requirement isn’t met for their troop. 

2. The girls in the troop must be grades 6-12 and registered members of Girl Scouts of the USA (multi-level troops with Daisies, Brownies or Juniors may not participate in the Opt-Out Program

3. All troop members must sign the agreement.

4. Agreement can be submitted to Council via email by January 30th by 5 pm PST Late "Opt-Out" requests will not be accepted. Send requests to customerservice@girlscoutsnv.org, ATTN: Opt-Out. By signing below, Girl Scouts and Caregivers/Guardians understand that you are opting out of the Girl Scout Snacks & More Fall Product Program Rewards. You will only be getting patches and the troop will receive $0.10 more per item sold by the Girl Scouts in your troop.
