  • Conference Description

    The World Service Conference (WSC) is the business meeting of Underearners Anonymous, a Fellowship that follows the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions. It is where Group Service Representatives (GSRs) from UA Meeting Groups and Intergroups, and the  UA Trustees gather to discuss and vote on important issues affecting UA as a whole.

    The UA World Service Conference 2024, “Peace, Prosperity & Unity (Through the Traditions and Concepts)” offers participants a prosperous balance of service, recovery and fellowship. We welcome participation from all members of our global fellowship.

    All fully registered attendees will have access to the Workshops, Talent Share and lunchroom activities. Each day of the Conference includes recovery and/or fellowship time.

  • Guidelines on Who May Attend, Share, and Vote at the Virtual UA World Service Conference 2024

     

    1. All UA members are welcome to register to attend the whole World Service Conference (WSC) or any portion of it.
    2. All attendees are invited to come to the work sessions of the full voting body (Convocation.) However, the only people allowed to speak during the Convocation sessions are the Group Service Representatives (GSRs), UA Trustees and Committee Chairs, the Parliamentarian, and the person(s) taking the WSC minutes.
    3. Only GSRs and Trustees may vote at the Convocation. 
    4. A GSR alternate may share and vote in Convocation sessions when the group's regular GSR is unable to be present.

  • Cost of attending:

    Full conference: $50.00 for GSRs and $25.00 for members at large.  This includes attendance at  convocation and committee sessions, access to the UA Visual Artist's showcase, workshops, fellowship rooms during lunch breaks, and Talent Share.

    If you are a GSR or GSR Alternate and need to apply for a scholarship, please complete this form and hit submit.  Then go to the UAWSC.org Website and fill out the scholarship form.

    Talent Share only: A suggested donation of $5.00 The Talent Share includes all forms of creative arts. No one will be turned away. 

    If groups would like to contribute additional funds, we would be happy to accept them.

  • The whole Conference will be held on Zoom

    To access the Conference, complete your payment through this form. You will then receive your unique link (which is not shareable) where you will be able to access the Conference. As with all Zoom meetings, it is your choice whether you are on camera or not.

    Note: In order to be more inclusive for members around the world, this schedule includes workshops based on a 24 hour schedule.

     

    All convocation sessions start no earlier than 9:30 AM ET and end no later than 3:00 PM ET.

      If you are applying for scholarship, you will receive confirmation of registration as soon as the scholarship application is accepted.
