Volunteer Opportunities - please check tasks that interest you.
Docent (tour guide): Interact with visitors and relate the history of David Bradford, the House and its furnishings, and the Whiskey Address Rebellion. Training required; period attire will be provided.
Special Events: Set up and take down tents, chairs, decorations, materials, etc.
Demonstrator: For the festival, heritage days, and other special events, we often need those who can demonstrate a craft or skill of the late 18th Century. Period attire is encouraged but not required and can be provided.
Whiskey Rebellion Festival: Staff museum sites and festival activities, help with set up/tear down, and other tasks.
Museum Aide: Prepare mailers, make copies, and other office chores.
Gardener: Help with the maintenance of the garden and grounds, with some knowledge of plants of the time period.
Junior Volunteer (middle/high school student): Choose task(s) above too. A letter verifying your hours for community service requirements can be provided.
