Is your daughter strong, powerful, flexible and fast? Is she upside down more than right side up? CYC have a program that might be perfect for you!
CYC is the home of a large and highly successful woman’s competitive gymnastics program. Home to Paris 2024 Olypian and Commonwealth Games Beam Gold medallist Kate McDonald and a number of 2024 National Champions. Our athletes have been recognised through various teams both Nationally and Internationally. Our coaching team work hard to provide a quality and well-structured child centred program for each individual.
This November, we are searching for girls aged 4-8 years old, who show the various attributes needed to become a competitive CYC squad athlete. On Sunday 10th of November interested girls will be invited to participate in a assessment looking at various abilities such as power, strength, flexibility and coordination. Girls do not need to have any previous gymnastics experience. However, you may have a little girl who is already enrolled in gymnastics and is looking to take the sport further.

Sunday 10th November 3:15 - 5.00pm, CYC Gymsports, 126 Woodland Drive, Braeside.
What to expect?
The girls will be taken through a warm up, then split into groups to conduct the assessment. The girls will be working with our highly qualified competitive coaching team to test their flexibility, power, strength and general listening and concentration abilities.
You can expect an email or follow up phone call through-out the following week with what we believe to be the most suitable level for your daughter.
How to Enrol?
Complete the form below, including any details you feel necessary to assist in our assessment. Please ensure you arrive at least 5 minutes prior for a prompt start.
What to wear:
A leotard, one-piece bathers or fitted singlet and shorts are most suitable. Please no denim, buttons, zips or loose clothing. Ensure your child has their hair tied back in either a bun or tight pony tail.
