FWD Funding Initiative Proposal Submission Form R3

In direct response to community feedback, Washington Filmworks (WF) has launched the FWD Funding Initiative, a program designed to invest in film industry workforce development efforts serving historically underrepresented communities through the disbursement of funds to Washington-based businesses selected through a competitive RFP (Request for Proposals) process. The FWD Funding Initiative will infuse $150,000 into the community to facilitate film workforce development efforts unique to individual community needs across the state.

These funds will be awarded in three rounds throughout 2024, with up to $60,000 available in the October 2024 Submission Round. The FWD Funding Initiative aims to: provide support for historically underrepresented community members; discover and support new workforce development approaches within the film industry; address gaps in existing resources.
