Democracy in Action (Grade 3)
LILI is thrilled to partner with the DC Council to offer "Democracy in Action" where students will explore the inner workings of the local DC government, including its branches and local leaders, gaining an understanding of the democratic process.

Scheduling Restrictions
This LILI program takes place at the John A Wilson Building and has a maximum student cap of 45 students. This field experience is a challenge to schedule as it involves coordinating councilmembers' scheduling as well as legislative hearings. Please select a BACKUP option in case we are unable to schedule this field experience for your grade-level.
