Are you looking for a deeper dive into missions than a short-term trip allows? How about interning over the summer or for a school year?

Here are a few of the internship options we offer.

6- to 10- Week Summer Internship
June-August
A summer internship will give you the full-experience of life on the mission field, as well as allow you to discern your gifts and callings in ministry. (The 2025 summer internship will include programs in both Uganda and South Sudan.)

9-Month Student Internship
Typically August-May
Our 9-month internship is designed primarily for ministry school students looking for an internship program crafted to meet their academic requirements, or for recent graduates seeking to hone their ministry skills and discern a possible call to missions? We would love to explore the possibility of working with you (and your school) to develop a plan that would qualify for your specific educational needs while also integrating you into the missions programs of Sozo Ministries in Uganda.

One-Year Missionary Exploration Internship
Are you sensing a call to missions full-time, but need more hands-on experience and training before you commit, Sozo Ministries would love to host you for a one-year internship to help you clarify your personal calling, develop your spiritual gifts, identify your passions, and give you opportunities to preach, teach, lead, minister, and more.

Anyone looking to join full-time with Sozo Ministries as a long-term missionary must complete a one-year missionary exploration internship first to build the relationship and help us all discern God's leading in long-term partnership.
