WITH SOZO MINISTRIES IN EAST AFRICA
Sozo Ministries hosts and participates in various ministry programs and evangelistic outreaches thorugh the year. Here are a few of the upcoming programs we know of.

East Africa - Global Outreach Mission 2026
Late June/Early July 2026 (Exact Dates and Location TBD)
- Team Leader: Scott Ingram
- Trip Difficulty: 2/5
- Program Details: The Sozo Ministries team will join the broader missions team from around Uganda and beyond for a multi-week outreach. Door-to-door teams will canvas the city for up to two weeks, followed by a weeklong mass crusade and conference. Team members can plan to attend the full three weeks or only the last two weeks of the outreach. (Exact dates and details will be forthcoming).
- Estimated Cost: $900 per week plus the purchase of flights, passport, visas and other personal needs.

Uganda - Mount Elgon Mission and Crusade
Early August 2026 (Exact Dates TBD)
- Team Leader: Kim Clevland
- Trip Difficulty: 5/5
- Program Details: This mission will target the area around Sissye Valley on the southern edge of Mount Elgon, around two Sozo Ministries churches. The daily mission will include trainings with local team members, door-to-door outreaches, and an evening crusade. Please be aware, this is a high-elevation, mountainous area. Team members must be able to walk up and down steep slopes without assistance, and should prepare themselves to sleep in tents and deal with the occasional rainy conditions.
- Estimated Cost: $2000 plus the purchase of flights, visas, passport, and other personal needs.
