  • We invite OWA Clubs to bid on Elite events and Training Camps for the 2026 year. This bid is for the following events:

    Winterlift - March 2026 

    Ontario Masters Championships - March 2026

    Ontario Classic - September 2026

    Ontario Senior Championships - November 2026

    Ontario Youth/Junior Championships - December 2026

    Senior/Junior Combined Training Camp - March 2026

    Masters Training Camp - Date TBD

     

    Votes will be placed by OWA membership prior to the AGM. Voting will take place securely through Simply Voting on September 11-12, 2025 and results announced at the AGM.

    Please note that the 2026/2027 event calendar is being reviewed. All dates listed below are subject to change slightly based on recommendations from the review committee.

    Next season will see a COMBINED Junior & Senior Training Camp, as well as a Masters Camp. Details below:

  • COMBINED JUNIOR & SENIOR TRAINING CAMP

    Date: TBC

    This camp will be an enhanced experience combining some of Ontario's top Junior and Senior athletes in a single weekend, providing a unique and valuable atmosphere with a focus on high-performance, learning and fun.

    There will be additional developmental opportunities for upcoming coaches and athletes*.

    Planned athlete quotas:

    10 Seniors
    10 Juniors
    5-10 Wildcards/Development Athletes

    Spaces for this event will need:

    • Minimum 8-10 platforms
    • Bathrooms/Change rooms
    • Proximity to hotels and food options (within 10km)
    • Sufficient Parking for 10-15 vehicles


    *OWA to define Wildcards/Developmental Athletes, Development Coaches and selection policy

  • MASTERS TRAINING CAMP

     Date: TBC

    This camp will bring together Masters athletes from across Ontario for a weekend of learning and lifting.

    Planned athlete quotas:

    20 Athletes

    Spaces for this event will need:

    Minimum 8-10 platforms
    Bathrooms/Change rooms
    Proximity to hotels and food options (within 10km)
    Sufficient Parking for 8-10 vehicles
