Recent changes have been made to the definition of an independent contractor. These updates may affect how you are classified and how we work together.

To ensure that you understand and agree with these changes, we kindly ask you to complete the attached Independent Contractor Check form.

By selecting AGREE for all the questions, you confirm that you understand and agree that you are an independent contractor under the new definition.

As an independent contractor, if you answer DISAGREE to any questions you need to stop work immediately and reassess your relationship with Made To Help.

You have control over your work?

You take financial responsibility and risk for your work? (Note as an independent contractor you have professional indemnity and public liability insurance to cover your financial responsibilities)

If Yes, please attach your Public Liability Insurance. Made To Help covers you for $10M Professional Liability.

You use my own tools and equipment, such as phones and laptops.

You understand that you are allowed to delegate or subcontract work, but anyone working with participants must have passed the NDIS screening check and all mandatory background checks?

You have control over your working hours? As a support coordinator or support worker, you accept a quote for budget and hours.

You understand that your employment depends on the NDIS participant's choice and control, as well as the availability of their budget, and that your work may cease if these factors change or stop?

You earn less than 80% of your total gross income for similar services from clients other than Made To Help?

If you earn more than 80% of your income from Made To Help, we are required to cover you under our WorkCover policy.
