Camp Davy Crockett 2026 Staff/CIT/Volunteer Application

All summer program staff, paid or volunteer, are required to fill out this application and provide the camp, upon their arrival, with a current health history and the  results of an up-to-date physical examination on the BSA Medical Form per current BSA policy. You will be required to provide documents to verify your eligibility as required by law.  Applicants must be registered members of Scouting America or agree to become a member before employment may be offered.  The camp staff must set an example of excellence in Scouting which includes owning and wearing the proper BSA uniform at all times.   Opportunities for employment are better for those who apply  early.  The Sequoyah Council, Scouting America, is an equal opportunity employer.     Thank you for applying! Camp Davy Crockett’s 2025 (Counselor in Training) CIT program is a fun, fast paced opportunity designed to give each applicant a glimpse into the staff experience. You must be fourteen years old to be considered for this program, but you may participate in up to 2 weeks. You will be given one staff shirt, a staff cap, and a staff patch. CITs stay in staff camp and will have electricity. Once selected to participate, there will be required paperwork to be completed prior to arrival at camp. Each CIT will report directly to the Program Director, who will schedule your time in each program area. As a CIT, your main objective is to shadow and assist the staff with their day-to-day activities. Completing this program will better enable you to choose what position to apply for next year as a staff member. You will be expected to arrive by 11:00 AM on Sunday of the week(S) you have been selected to work and you will be done around 10:00 AM on Saturday.
