Fall Bird Migration Walk

Limited to 15 participants
Join bird expert Juanita Hummel and girl scout Vedika Sharma as they lead an educational hike through the beautiful Cedar Ridge meadows and forest. Click HERE for directions.
You'll identify birds like Eastern Towhees and Veeries active now on the preserve that will soon be migrating down south. We will also see and hear our year-round residents: Carolina Wren, Downy Woodpecker, White-breasted Nuthatch, Red-shouldered Hawk, among others.
Wear a hat, hiking boots or sneakers.
Bring a water bottle and binoculars, if you have them.
Space is limited ~ reservations are necessary
