We offer a variety of empowering programming throughout the year. Read below to discover all the ways you can get involved as a workshop leader!
Annual Summit – A one-day weekend event featuring workshops, keynote speakers, and community building. Next Summit: April 25, 2026

School Club Workshops – Weekday sessions held during the school day 8am -3 pm, designed to engage students in social-emotional learning and leadership development.

GirlTalk Workshops – Weeknight workshops offered throughout the school year, providing a safe space for open dialogue and connection. Available virtually and in person.

Private Summits – Usually held during the day. Customized events tailored for private schools, libraries, and other community organizations.

Required Background Clearances

To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, all Girls Spark workshop leaders are required to submit the following background clearances before participating in any Girls Spark programs or events:

PA Child Abuse History Certification (CY113):

Online Submission: Complete your application through the Child Welfare Information Solution (CWIS) self-service portal.

PA Criminal History Background Check:

Online Submission: Access the Pennsylvania Access To Criminal History (PATCH) website to submit your request. Volunteer checks are free and can be processed online.
