Join writer, artist, and consultant Andrea Kleine to learn about putting together a grant application and writing about your work. In this workshop, we will go over what makes a compelling project description, how to write an artist statement, and how to select work samples that showcase who you are. There will be time for a Q&A about grant writing and finding support for your work.
Budget Basics for Projects + Grants

CREATE Council's Grants Coordinator, Richard Royer, will take you row-by-row and column-by-column in this tutorial on using the SCR Grant Application Budget Form. He'll go over some budget basics, offer tips, and facilitate break-out groups to work directly on your project budget.

This workshop is tailored to the required SCR Budget Form, but general principles reviewed will be applicable to creating a budget for other projects. All are welcome.
