1. NEW Applicants must detail relevant experience and/or relevant qualifications supporting their application:
A. Must have completed a minimum of three WOF inspections under the supervision and satisfaction of a current WOF Inspection Authority to assess;
B. The applicant should include all relevant experience, such as:
i. Years active in the sport; or
ii. Instructing; or
iii. Glider manufacturing; or
iv. Relevant engineering degree; or
v. Relevant trade/industry qualification.
2. RENEWAL of a WOF Inspection Authority:
A. Must be done prior to their WOF Inspection Authority expiring;
B. Requires the signature of their local CSO;
3. ALL applicants must be supported by their local Club Safety Officer (CSO), unless they are the CSO, in which case they must be supported by another CSO;
4. VALIDITY: WOF Inspection Authorities are granted for a period of three years, unless revoked or surrendered.
