  • Bingo Volunteer Sign up Request Form

    This sign up form is for Members wishing to volunteer for to be part of the Bingo team.
  • COBRA Bingo is a Member benefit with participation completely voluntary.  Families who volunteer are credited monies into their Member account for each session volunteered:

    • $75.00 for a full shift
    • $35.00 for a half shift
    • $0.00 for the two (2) mandatory training / shadowing sessions in advance of inclusion into the Bingo rotational schedule

    Each year, the Bingo Hall will allocate the schedules to the various charities who are volunteering.  As such, the dates and times where volunteers are required may vary year over year. 

    Volunteers must be willing to commit to a minimum of 50% availability per quarter (each quarter consists of ~24 sessions).  Those who are unable to commit are not guaranteed to be provided shifts for the quarter.

    • You will be asked for your availability prior to the start of each quarter
    • The Bingo Coordinator will schedule all volunteers based on availability to cover the sessions
    • At each session, there will be one (1) Captain and two (2) Volunteers
    • If you are unable to attend a session for any reason, you are responsible for arranging coverage by reaching out to another volunteer and providing the Captain and Bingo Coordinator an update

    Volunteers must be willing to commit to working any of the scheduled sessions (early and late) with exception of any specific dates where unavailable to volunteer.  Shifts assigned will be reflective of availability so those with limited availability may receive a reduced number of shifts compared to others.

     

  • 2024 Bingo schedule - weekly on Thursday evenings:

    • Session 1: 6:45PM - 9:30PM (arrival at hall between 5:30PM and 6:00PM for setup)
    • Session 2: 9:45PM - 12:15AM (arrival at hall between 8:30PM and 9:00PM to set up)

  • Bingo schedule - weekly on Thursday evenings with one (1) Saturday scheduled per month (with exception of February):

    • Session 1: 6:45PM - 9:30PM (arrival at hall between 5:30PM and 6:00PM for setup)
    • Session 2: 9:45PM - 12:15AM (arrival at hall between 8:30PM and 9:00PM to set up)
    • Saturday:  9:45PM - 12:15AM (arrival at hall between 8:30PM and 9:00PM to set up)

  • Please review and acknowledge your awareness and agreement of the below terms and conditions:

    1. Submitting this volunteer request form for Bingo does not guarantee an indivdual a spot on the Bingo team
    2. Individuals will be placed on the waiting list upon submission of the form.  Once a spot becomes available, the Bingo Coordinator will contact you directly and provide you with further details
    3. There are two (2) mandatory unpaid training / shadowing sessions required in advance of inclusion into the Bingo rotational schedule
    4. Rotational schedules commence at the beginning of each quarter.  New Individuals to the Bingo team will be slotted into the rotational schedule at the beginning of the quarter unless an opportunity is available to join mid-schedule
    5. Volunteers must be willing to commit to working any of the scheduled sessions (early and late) with exception of any specific dates where unavailable to volunteer.  Shifts assigned will be reflective of availability so those with limited availability may receive a reduced number of shifts compared to others
    6. Volunteers must be able to commit to a minimum of 50% availability per quarter (each quarter consists of ~24 sessions). Those who are unable to commit are not guaranteed to be provided shifts for the quarter.
    7. While every effort is made to accomodate scheduling requests based on availability and provide an equal number of volunter sessions, there is no guarantee that all requests will be met and no guarantee on the number of sessions allocated to each individual
    8. In the event that an Individual is unable to volunteer for a session they have been scheduled for, it is the Individual's responsibility to arrange coverage by reaching out to another Volunteer.  An update to the Captain and/or Bingo Coordinator is also required
    9. If multiple individuals from the same Member family wish to volunteer, only one person from that family may participate in each session and receive any session credits offered
