For instance, athletic, good listener, public speaking, writing, graphic design, an artistic eye, project management, gift of presence, fast learner, decision making, problem solving, great memory, patience, humor, and on and on...

James 1:17 reminds us: ...all good giving and every perfect gift is from above...

In 1Corinthians 9:6 Paul tells us: Consider this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

We are invited by our loving God to share our gifts with the Body of Christ.

But then you might ask, "what do I have worth sharing and how and where do I share my gifts?"

Public speaking, preparation, and a love for the Word are all necessary to be an effective lector.Adult Retreats - Retreat Leaders have the opportunity to inspire and guide others on their spiritual journey by leading presentations and discussions during retreats. Their ability to share personal insights and engage participants helps create a transformative retreat experience. If you have a gift for public speaking and a desire to deepen others’ faith, consider serving in this impactful ministry.Adult Faith Formation - Adult Faith Formation Leaders deepen the faith of others by researching topics in Catholic theology and spirituality and sharing their knowledge in a classroom setting. Their presentations encourage thoughtful discussions and help participants grow in understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith. If you enjoy studying and teaching, this ministry offers a wonderful way to share your love for the faith.PSR - The Parish School of Religion (PSR) Catechists guide students in grades 2-6 as they explore and deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith using structured workbooks. Through interactive lessons and activities, they help young learners build a strong foundation in their faith. If you have a heart for teaching children and want to nurture their spiritual growth, consider joining this rewarding ministry.

Grief Recovery - The Grief Recovery Ministry supports individuals and families navigating the pain of losing a loved one. Volunteers offer a safe space for people to share their stories, express their emotions, and find comfort in a community that understands their grief. This ministry is suited for those who are compassionate, patient, and have a desire to help others find hope and healing through their journey of loss. If you have a heart for walking with others through their grief, this may be a powerful way to provide support and encouragement.OCIA - The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the formation process through which adults are fully initiated into the Catholic faith community. The OCIA process was developed for those who desire the faith and may or not be baptized. It is also conducive for those who have been baptized in another faith. Catholics who have not been fully initiated through the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist participate to learn more about the faith and sacramental preparation. Involvement in this ministry team involves respectfully listening to the participants journey that has led them to entering into full communion with the Catholic faith.Faith Sharing Ministry - Faith Sharing Ministry members gather to share their Catholic faith, reflect on Scripture, and support one another in their spiritual journeys. Through meaningful discussions and fellowship, they help strengthen each other’s faith and build a sense of community. If you feel called to share your experiences and grow in faith with others, this welcoming ministry could be a great fit.Cancer Support Group - The Cancer Support Group ministry provides emotional and spiritual support to individuals and families affected by cancer. Volunteers play a vital role by offering a compassionate presence, a listening ear, and encouragement during difficult times. This ministry is ideal for those who are empathetic, patient, and feel called to walk alongside others in their healing journey. If you have a heart for providing hope and companionship in a supportive community, this may be a meaningful way to serve.Gabriel Project Ministry - The Gabriel Project is a Christian, church-based outreach offering immediate and practical help to women and families facing an unplanned pregnancy. The Gabriel Project, at the woman’s initiation, establishes a personal relationship with her that offers physical, spiritual, and emotional support, for as long as she wants it, usually until about 6 months after the baby’s birth. The Gabriel Project does not charge for its services and does not discriminate in providing services because of race, creed, color, national origin, age, marital status, or religious affiliation.
