  • The Helping Hands program at Oak Park Church of Christ

The Helping Hands program is a community outreach initiative of Oak Park Church of Christ, dedicated to providing essential resources and support to those in need. Our goal is to create a more just and equitable society through acts of compassion and kindness.
  • 📅 Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM, registration opens for Thursday’s Helping Hands program.

    📌 Please Note:

    🔢 Limited spots available.
Only one registration per household is allowed.

    🪪 Photo ID Requirement
You must provide your address on this form, and your photo ID must match that address.

Acceptable ID includes any government-issued identification that clearly shows both your photo and current address (e.g., Alberta Driver’s Licence, Alberta ID card, PR card).

If you do not have government-issued photo ID with your address, you must bring both:

A piece of government-issued photo ID, and
Proof of address (e.g., utility bill, lease agreement, or government letter)
This requirement ensures only one registration per household and keeps the program fair for all guests.

If you are unsure whether your ID or documents are acceptable, please speak with a member of our team, who will be happy to assist you.

Misuse of the program or abuse of volunteers or guests
can result in your registration being canceled and being banned from future visits.

🤝 This program is 100% donation- and volunteer-run.
Please treat volunteers and staff with kindness and respect.

🏠 We want everyone to feel safe and welcome.
Let’s work together to create a respectful space for all.

🔖 Once you complete this registration, you’ll receive a randomised number in a follow up email.
This is your spot in line for Thursday.

🔁 While we try to follow that order, numbers may change if something unexpected happens.

🚪 Do NOT line up before 8:30 AM on Thursdays.
Please help us maintain a calm and respectful environment.

🛍️ Bring your own reusable bags
We are unable to provide bags or help carry items.

⏰ Arrive on time and wait until your assigned number is called.

⛔ If you're not present when your number is called,
you may experience delays or miss your opportunity to be served.
