    • Completing this application is a step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Labraberry, but it does not guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

CONTRACT: We will not consider requests without this filled signed application. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialise our obligations to each other so there are no questions or concerns later. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.

APPROVAL AND PAYMENT: We will review applications within 3 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If your application seems like you may be a good fit, we will notify you. We breed on a scheduled cycle, so we will only accept payments when puppies are expected or actually available. During pregnancy, approved homes will receive a notification about the litter. They will be invited to meet the puppies after 3 weeks old (at a time agreed by both parties) and if going ahead, they will be requested to pay a deposit for the puppy. The rest of the payment will be done on or before the date of pick up of the puppy, at 8 weeks old.

YOUR PICK OF PUPPY: We believe that choosing a puppy is also a personal decision - each puppy has its own unique temperament and personality, which may resonate differently with each person. Additionally, you may have specific preferences regarding traits like energy levels, temperament or appearance and these can only be fully evaluated in person, ensuring a better match for both the puppy and the new owner. By allowing you to select the puppy, we ensure that you are taking full responsibility for this choice, reducing the risk of dissatisfaction later on and this helps avoid disputes regarding the puppy's suitability for the buyer’s environment or expectations.
If you are unable to visit the puppies in person, we may assist in selecting a puppy on your behalf based on the preferences provided (e.g. gender, temperament). In such cases, you will acknowledge that we will make our best selection based on the information and preferences provided by you, but certain characteristics can only be fully assessed through personal interaction and there is no 100% guarantee that the puppy will perfectly match. You also acknowledge that we cannot foresee all aspects of a puppy’s future development or compatibility with your household.
Puppies will be assigned in deposit payment order and once the puppy has been selected and agreed upon by both parties (regardless of you choosing the puppy or asking us to choose the puppy for you), this decision is final. If your choice is not available, you may elect another puppy from the litter. We ask that you make a choice within 24 hours of notification since there may be other families waiting for a chance to choose.

GOING HOME: We cannot hold puppies for extended times as it is critical for their social development that the litter departs within a reasonable timeframe. If you have a big vacation planned or have events that would conflict with a young puppy, please know puppies cannot be boarded in a kennel until they have received their full immunisations at around 3 months of age.
By the time the puppies reach 8 weeks old, they will have up-to-date vaccinations, been dewormed and undergone a vet examination confirming that they are healthy. However, we still recommend that you take your puppy to a vet within 72 hours of purchase to verify its health for yourself. If you choose not to take the puppy to a vet within this 72-hour period, you acknowledge that the puppy is free of any defects and in good health at the time of sale.

REGISTRATION PAPERS: Your puppy will come with a Certified Limited Pedigree (not for breeding) from the AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL KENNEL COUNCIL LIMITED. In addition to this please remember that every dog, 3 months of age and over, must be registered with your local council. The buyer also agrees the puppy is not for export purposes.
