2026 Thomas More University Alumni Association Awards Nomination Form

The Thomas More University Alumni Association requests nominations for the 2026 Alumni Awards. These awards were established to honor and recognize outstanding alumni and community leaders whose talents and expertise have significantly impacted Thomas More University and the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati community.

The Alumni Awards will occur Friday of Homecoming Weekend. Recipients of the awards will be invited to celebrate their achievements and must attend in person to be an honoree.

AWARD CATEGORIES (PICK 1)*

The Professional Achievement Award - Awarded to an alum whose career has reached a level of excellence in his or her respective field of endeavor, and is recognized as such by peers and other knowledgeable contactsThe Citizenship Award - Awarded to an alum who has made a significant impact on the welfare of his or her community through service and leadership. Nominees should exhibit a strong commitment to integrity, concern for justice, and service to others for which our spiritual patron and namesake, St. Thomas More, is so justly renowned.The Thomas More University Service Award - Awarded to an alum or friend of Thomas More University who has provided continued service to the University. This award recognizes extraordinary service in terms of time, energy, and expertise rather than financial support.The Lasting Influence Award - Awarded to a faculty or staff member, past or present, who has demonstrated and continues to have a positive and lasting impact on the lives of current and former students. Nominees should be noted as a role model for the University's mission and one who also served as an influence on the career choice of the students they served.Legacy Award - Awarded posthumously to an alumni, faculty, staff, or friend of Thomas More University for the lasting impact they made on the institution in their lifetime. Remembered as beacons of inspiration in the pursuit of the meaning of life, our place in the world, and our responsibility to others, we honor the recipient of this award for the impact they made while with us and beyond.The Emerging Leader Award - Awarded to an alum who graduated in the last 15 years in recognition of a commitment to excellence in post-collegiate life and a significant or ongoing commitment to extraordinary work, research, volunteerism, or service to Thomas More University.Honorary Alumni Award - Awarded to an individual who, while not a graduate of Villa Madonna College, Thomas More College, or Thomas More University, has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the values, mission, and community spirit that has defined Thomas More University for more than 100 years. This award is given to those who have made a strong impact on Thomas More University through support and advocacy, leaving an indelible mark on the institution.
