EdVenture the largest children's museum in the Southeast and is located along the historic Congaree Vista in Columbia, South Carolina

EdVenture in collaboration with the South Carolina Council of Teachersof Mathematics sponsors this EdVenture Math Trail!
  • How Does it Work?

A Math Trail is a mathematical journey taken anywhere - on a city street,in a grocery store, in a garden, at the mall, and even at EdVenture.
  • Go to each section of the designated sections of EdVenture and answer as many questions as you can.

  • Let the Math Trail Begin!

As you walk along the trees, notice the symmetry in the leaves and plants. Symmetry is when the two halves of something are exactly the same. Think of a butterfly, a heart shape. These shapes have symmetry.
  • Notice the different patterns in the bark of the trees.
