Important Note:

Currently, Be Moore Interpreting is able to provide training only to individuals in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. 

Admission Requirements:

• Age:
  • Participants must be at least 18 years old.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Participants must be bilingual in English and at least one other language. Proof of proficiency in both languages is required, which can be demonstrated through:
    • Education:
      • A high school diploma or equivalent, or a university/college degree from an institution where the assessed language was the medium of instruction.
    • Experience:
      • Five or more years of verified professional experience working in the assessed language(s).
      • State or federal court interpreter certification.
    • Language Fluency:
      • Oral language exam results with scores equivalent to ACTFL Advanced Mid-level or ILR Level 2.
  • If you do not have prior proof of language proficiency, the registration process will include a speaking and listening assessment conducted over the phone.
• No prior medical experience is required.

Attendance Requirement:
Participants must be present for all 40 hours of the Bridging the Gap Medical Interpreter Training to receive a certificate of completion. Full attendance is mandatory, and there are no exceptions to this policy.

Refund Policy:

• Participants who opt out of the training at least 15 days (virtual) or 30 days (in-person) prior to the start date will be eligible for a refund, minus the $150 nonrefundable deposit.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 15 days for virtual courses or 30 days for in-person courses before the start date of the training.

Course Completion and Re-Registration:

• Participants who are unable to complete the full 40 hours of the training due to unforeseen circumstances will have the opportunity to register one time for a future course at no additional cost.
• This option is limited to one re-registration only. Failure to complete the training after re-registration will result in forfeiture of the registration fee.

No Make-Up Sessions:

• There will be no one-on-one make-up sessions or partial attendance options. Participants are expected to attend the scheduled training sessions as planned.

By signing this electronic form, I hereby grant Be Moore Interpreting and its representatives the irrevocable right and permission to record, photograph, film, or otherwise capture my likeness, voice, and statements during the Bridging the Gap 40-Hour Medical Interpreter Training program.

I understand and agree that these recordings, photographs, films, or other media may be used for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to, educational, promotional, marketing, and other business-related activities. I further understand that these materials may be edited, copied, exhibited, published, or distributed without my prior inspection or approval and without compensation.

I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of my likeness, voice, or statements. I also release Be Moore Interpreting, its employees, agents, and assigns from any claims, demands, or liabilities that may arise in connection with the use of these recordings or images.

By signing this form, I acknowledge that I have completely read and fully understand the above release and agree to be bound thereby. I hereby release any and all claims against Be Moore Interpreting and its representatives for the use of my image, likeness, or voice.
