MARCO Peer Advisory Council Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in being a member of MARCO's Peer Advisory Council! Peer Advisory Council members are volunteers from the recovery community who want to build a recovery-oriented future. They support MARCO's mission to educate, advocate, and mobilize resources to grow the community-based recovery movement across Minnesota.

Peer Advisory Council members advise MARCO on its programs and services and participate in its strategic planning. They also serve as community ambassadors for MARCO's mission and vision. Members reflect the diversity of personal and professional lived experiences within the recovery community.

Peer Advisory Council members identify with one or more of the following. Please check all that apply to you.

Peer Advisory Council members commit to an average of 2 hours per month of volunteer service and 1 to 2 annual half-day retreats with MARCO's Board of Directors for strategic planning, vision development, and other MARCO development activities. Peer Advisory Council members also occasionally represent MARCO at outreach or public events. We know that schedules can change, but please indicate if you can commit to approximately 40 hours of annual volunteer service.
