Miss Alternative Buffalo Rules and Regulations:
Contestant does not have to be a naturally born female in any category, however the contestant understands that the division they decide to participate in will be their appointed category for this desired set point in time.
Contestants must be a resident of the New York State area or have relatives in the New York State area with a valid mailing address.
Contestants must be 21 years of age or older to apply. The cut off age is 40 years old for those interested in competing.
Contestants supporters, guests and visitors will conduct themselves in a respectful/professional manner at all times - bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated. Those exhibiting poor conduct will be removed from pageant without refund,
Contestants promise to not slander the pageant board of directors, peers, judges, volunteers or anyone else affiliated with the pageant.
Contestants agree to provide a valid copy of their driver's license to verify age and residence.
The Miss Alternative Buffalo Beauty Pageant can change the dates and venue of the pageant as it is deemed necessary.
MABBP has the right to refuse anyone entry into the venue, preliminary, dressing rooms, or the show itself.
No outside persons are allowed in dressing rooms besides the pageant contestants.
There is a no smoking policy inside any of our venu properties. Smoking includes e-cigarettes, vaping, marijuana, and tobacco products in any form.
Drugs are prohibited.
Contestants must abide by all rules and regulations. Contestants not observing rules will be sent home without a refund.
If Contestant is unable to attend due to a godly act, sickness or unfortunate family happenstance; please notify one of the pageant board of directors immediately as soon as that information is made available to you and specific arrangements will be made.
All fees are nonrefundable.
Contestants must be of good health and moral character.
Contestants must be a citizen of the United States of America.
Contestants understand that with a typical pageant rule system, those who have been married, divorced, given birth or have been pregnant are generally disqualified from entering. However, MABBP would like to break the standard mold and allow mothers, those who have been pregnant, widowed or divorced to enter into the pageant as long as they are of upstanding moral character.
Contestants must have never been convicted of a felony, crime and/or have never participated in any criminal activity.
Contestants understand that by accepting division titles, they are making an agreement to uphold good standing behavior in the community and to honor prizes given from the pageant until next crowns are offered in 1 year's time.
Contestants understand the costs associated with pageantry and assume the responsibility for all payment of fees and adhere to the deadlines for payment and paperwork deadlines as designated by the MABBP.
Contestants must not pose in pornography (audio or video) for 1 year's time if a title is won.
All prizes, awards, gifts, or scholarships are subject to change without notice by the MABBP.
MABBP is not responsible for any prizes forfeited by sponsors.
Contestants agree that all information provided on their entry form paperwork is true and accurate, if information is falsified it will lead to disqualification. No refunds will be given.
Tattoo code - all tattoos on contestants competing in the pageant must be appropriate meaning they have no political, racial, homophobic, derogatory, offensive, or representation to gang affiliations/prison on their bodies.
Any contestant and/or family member or guest showing less than sportsman-like behavior, bullying or provoking drama will be disqualified from the pageant and no refunds will be given.
Contestants agree to be responsive to the email updates, attend meetings if necessary, promote the show on their social media to the best of their ability and maintain good character themselves throughout.
