Training Ground Apprentice Expression of Interest
The Wakatipu Music Festival has created opportunities for early career professionals who are keen to undertake hands-on training in a paid apprenticeship-like position.
The apprentices will deliver the presentation of the Festival, overseen and mentored by experienced music and event industry professionals. This capability-building will be prioritised for district-based locals with an authentic effort to attract cultural and ethnic diversity. Out-of-region applicants that self-fund travel and accommodation are welcome to apply. Best-practice mentoring techniques and associated duty-of-care will be evident.
Applicants must meet the legal requirements to work in New Zealand, and for some roles be at least 18 years of age. These paid contract roles will suit interested workers with authentic appreciation for NZ arts who are keen to develop quality professional skills that will look good on CVs and future job applications.
