Registration for
Sarvapitra Amavasya Pooja and Havan
Tue Oct 1 2024 - 6:30 PM
Pitru Paksha is a period of 15 days during which Hindus pay respect and homage to their ancestors. According to religious beliefs, Shradh performed on these days pleases the souls of all ancestors of the family. The last day of Pitru Paksha is known as Sarvapitri Amavasya or Mahalaya Amavasya.
Mahalaya Amavasya is the most significant day of Pitru Paksha as Shradh can be performed on this Tithi even if the death anniversary of ancestors is not known or forgotten.
By performing Tarpan, Shradh and Pind daan on this day, the ancestors will be pleased and bless the family.
Devotees are requested to register for this event so that we can plan accordingly.
Priest and Pooja items will be provided at the Mandir.
Please arrive at the Mandir by 6:15 PM
