Terms and Conditions
Goods
1. We only exhibit goods that are hand made by the exhibitor. If you are a new exhibitor photographs of work must be included.
2. Only the handmade goods indicated on the application form are to be displayed for sale.
Applications
3. All applications are to be made on current application forms issued by SACC, no bookings will be accepted without this form.
4. All cheques are made payable to Southend Adult Community College.
5. If we are unable to offer you a table in the position /type/size of your choice, we will endeavor to allocate you a suitable alternative. Positioning of the table is at the organiser’s discretion.
6. If you do not receive acknowledgement and receipt for the monies sent within 28 days please contact us.
7. Under no circumstances may tables booked be sublet.
8. In the event of your cancellation/withdraw from the event no monies will be refunded or transferred.
Display
9. If you have any special requirements please notify the organisers before applying.
10. The organisers will allocate your table any additional display board’s stands or rails must be positioned within the allocated table space. They must not obstruct access gangways or others stands.
11. Please supply neat and tidy table coverings, all packaging must not be visible to the public.
12. Use of flammable or dangerous materials or equipment is strictly prohibited.
13. Please ensure that your area is kept clean and tidy for the duration of the event.
14. Unloading/loading can be accessed through the doors at the front of the college. We have a car park on site located at the rear of the college that can be used by all traders and customers free of charge.
15. All stands should be unpacked and ready for trading 15 minutes before the start of the event
16. No stand should be packed away or dismantled prior to the closing time.
17. For Health and Safety:
No animals (except guide dogs) are to be permitted in the area
No smoking in the venue
No candles are to be lit in the venue
18. Exhibitors are liable for any loss or damage to the venue or injury to other persons as a result of negligence.
19. The organisers cannot be held responsible for the well-being of stock or persons whilst travelling to or during the event. All exhibitors are responsible for their own public liability insurance.
20. Due to the college not having a public music license - stall holders are prohibited from playing personal music at the event.
21. A signed application form is a contract and assumes these terms and conditions have been read.
