United Way: Clarksville Office & Clarksville Fire Rescue
Please note this program is serving the Greater Clarksville Region only
The holiday season can be challenging for many families in our greater Clarksville region who may not be able to afford food or gifts for their families. United Way of Greater Nashville and Clarksville Fire Rescue hosts the Adopt-A-Family program to brighten the holidays and provide much-needed assistance for these families in the greater Clarksville region. We invite workplaces, families, groups, or individuals to adopt a family in need for the holidays and help spread some cheer.
By adopting a family, sponsors can provide items such as clothes, shoes, toiletries, food, and gifts from each family’s wish list. The choice of gifts is flexible, but we kindly ask that sponsors follow the program's guidelines to ensure fairness and meet each family's basic needs.
Program Requirements:
- Sponsors will indicate the number of families they wish to adopt and specify the size of the family.
- For each child, a minimum of two needs and one want should be fulfilled. The gifts should be equally distributed among all children.
- For each adult or parent/guardian, a minimum of one need should be fulfilled.
- All gifts must be wrapped, tagged, and delivered to Clarksville Fire & Rescue between December 9th – 13th between 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- All families and sponsors will remain anonymous unless both parties choose to reveal their identity. Sponsors will receive only the first names of family members for the purpose of labeling gifts.
