Sire or dam of entered horses may be nominated. This is optional. Nominators receive publicity for their mare/stallion through the VQHA newsletter, Facebook posts, and press releases distributed to statewide media outlets and the VQHA website. This publicity will highlight individual breeders/owners and help position Virginia as a viable place to shop for horses.
Nomination fee is $10 fee per sire or dam (not paid by lifetime program members)
Important procedures. Whether you are entering only Virignia-bred classes or other classes, you will need to go to the office to get your number and pay any additional fees required by the show (judges fee, haul in fee, etc). Va-Bred classes do not count for flat fee rates. They are separate from the rest of the show.
