CanAsian Dance is seeking to hire a General Manager

The General Manager works collaboratively and in partnership with the Artistic Lead to advance the mission, vision, and strategic plans of the organization, and is responsible for all administrative and operational areas of CAD’s operations, including financial, personnel, facility, marketing, and fundraising. Along with the Artistic Lead, you will be leading and guiding the Programs and Communications Associate.

We centre the Asian diaspora dance community. The Asian diaspora encompasses the whole continent of Asia, including South, East, Southeast, West, and Central Asian countries, as well as the surrounding Pacific Islands.

Hours: 27 hours per week

Fee: $42,499.08 for a ~12-month contract ($30.27 per hour)plus applicable HST if candidate has HST number. (Note: Subject to funding, we hope to either extend this contract or establish this position as a permanent role)

Oversees: Programs and Communications Associate

Location: The successful applicant will primarily work from home but should ideally be based in or near the Greater Toronto Area 

Reports to: CanAsian Dance Board of Directors
