About Us
Hugh Boyd's MUN Club started in 2022 as a place for students to pursue their passions outside of class, in debating and being leaders as delegates. Members get a chance to develop their public speaking, research, negotiation, and collaboration skills while creating meaningful connections and experiences with others of all grades.
We are open to all students at Boyd regardless of skill level. It is a great extracurricular activity to pursue, even if your future aspirations aren't within international relations and politics. Learn more about real-world issues and become diplomats while surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals!
Please note that as a member, being in the club will be a year-long commitment as you will be expected to show up to meetings and participate. Throughout the year we will:
- Attend various renowned conferences throughout Metro Vancouver (CAHSMUN, VMUN, CAIMUN, RichMUN, etc.)
- Host various mock-debates and workshops with engaging activities.
