Handshake School Permissions:
We want recruiting at USF to be easy, so we are happy to post jobs on your behalf. However, your Handshake settings may prevent us from posting jobs onto your employer account/page in Handshake.
We recommend that jobs posted in Handshake appear on your employer account/page. This is ideal for increasing awareness of your organization with students/candidates and ensures that students/candidates exploring your organization are introduced to your organization's website, description, values/mission, social media, and other features of your employer brand.
If your organization does not have a Handshake employer account, the Center for Career and Professional Development will create one for you and can post your jobs on it for you. We will connect you to your new employer account so that you can manage it yourself in the future.
If you do have a Handshake employer acount, the Owner of the employer account must give USF permission to post jobs on your behalf.
You can give USF permission to post jobs on to your organization's Handshake account under the "School permissions" option under "Company settings" in Handshake. Click on this Handshake article and read under the "school permission" area on on how to give USF permission to post jobs for you.
If USF does not have permission to post the job to your Handshake employer account, we will post the job on a general employment opportunities page managed by USF that highlights opportunities for students. Your organization will be clearly identified. This option can work for any employer, but is an ideal option for smaller organizations, independent locations (e.g., resturants/stores), or those with temporary/one-time opportunities that are unlikely to actively manage a Handshake account or only wish to recruit at USF.
