The French Embassy in the United States and Albertine Foundation have partenered a second year in a row to support innovative projects, including job fairs and immersvie internship programs, aiming to improve the quality of programs, diversify the offer, and increase enrollments in departments of French and Francophone studies in colleges and universities.
In 2023/24, 21 grants were awarded to support innovative and diverse projects, mainly revolving around themes such as technology, sustainability, social justice, professionalization, or culture.
The Embassy of France in the United States and Albertine Foundation would like to emphasize that for this new edition, the originality of the projects will be considered even more. Initiatives that propose exciting perspectives in terms of themes, of pathways of teaching, of partnerships, of carrier development, or of internship programs are sought and will be privileged.
This call for proposals will identify and support projects that exemplify how dynamic, resilient, and useful French learning is today. Selected projects will receive grants ranging from $2,000 to $20,000 depending on the expected impact level and on the availability of matching funds.
