Lewisburg Arts Festival Application

Lewisburg Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Market Street and Third Street will both be open to pedestrian traffic only, giving you an excellent opportunity to show and sell. Past events have drawn over 10,000 attendees.

NEW in 2025, the Festival hours will be changing to 9am to 4pm. This change is in response to vendor feedback to allow more time at the end of the event to dismantle your display prior to the road opening at 6pm.

The Festival is held rain or shine and all vendors are expected to remain open for the duration of the event. 

A non-refundable fee of $25 is required when submitting your application. If you are selected as a vendor we will contact you for your booth payment.

Application deadline is January 15, 2025.

No late applications will be accepted.

2025 LEWISBURG ARTS FESTIVAL GUIDELINES

ELIGIBILITY

All artists and crafters, professional or amateur, are invited to enter. All items must be original work by the entrant or joint exhibitors working on the same body of work - not a consortium of artists. Participation in previous years is no guarantee of acceptance this year.

To ensure artistry of the highest quality, all entries are juried by a panel of professionals. The Lewisburg Arts Council reserves the right to limit the entries per category.

The artist whose work has been accepted MUST be present for the entire show. Each artist is responsible for the collection and payment of Pennsylvania 6% sales tax. Each artist is responsible for assembling, managing, cleaning and removing their exhibit. The Artists Committee reserves the right to exclude any artist, without refund, who breaks these rules while the show is in progress.

Vendors who do not show without prior written communication with the LAC may not be accepted to participate in future LAC events.

Artifical Intelligence (AI) generated artwork is not permitted.

All work must be the artist's original design. Do not infringe on copyrights. If using the Lewisburg lamp post in your work, please request permission from the Lewisburg borough.

FESTIVAL BOOTHS

Booth spaces are 10' wide X 10' deep. There is approximately 3' of space between vendor booths. Artists may apply for double booth space. Additional space is available for an additional fee.

It is suggested all booths consist of 2 sides and a backdrop as well as some type of overhead protection as the Festival is held RAIN OR SHINE. No electricity or WiFI is provided for booths. Generators are not permitted. Booths may not be staked down but instead must be secured with sandbags or similar weights. Any variations must be approved by the committee.

FESTIVAL LAYOUT

Artist booths located on Market Street and Third Street will be positioned on ONLY ONE SIDE OF THE YELLOW LINE. This layout is required to meet the regulations of local emergency services. Additional locations adjacent to Market Street may also be assigned at the discretion of the Artists Committee.

WEATHER

This Festival will not be canceled because of inclement weather.  This is an outdoor event; be prepared for any type of weather. NO REFUNDS will be issued if you close your booth/stand due to inclement weather.

We will promote participating vendors through our website and social media channels. Website and social media accounts will not be used for the purpose of jurying vendors.

It is your responsibility to display your Pennsylvania state sales tax license in your booth and collect and submit sales tax.

Booths are 10' x 10'. There is approximately 3' between vendor booths. Please let us know what booth you are interested in. If your entry is accepted, you will receive a notification. DO NOT SEND BOOTH PAYMENT AT THIS TIME.

PLEASE SUBMIT 3 PRODUCT IMAGES EVEN IF YOU WERE PREVIOUSLY JURIED. We encourage you to submit all three images so you have the best representation for the jurors.

Submit photos that are representative of your entire body of work that you plan to display at the Festival. If you display items that were not juried, you may be asked to remove them from your booth. 

If applying to a primary and secondary category, one image must represent your secondary category. It is acceptable to group small items together in your image. Artists remain anonymous during the jurying process, avoid using images that contain your name, business name, logo, or yourself.

By submitting these images, you are giving the Lewisburg Arts Council permission to reproduce the photos for Festival promotion in print or digital form.

File name should include your Last Name, Category, and image number (Ex: Smith_Painting_1.jpg, Smith_Painting_2.jpg, Smith_Wood_3.jpg). This naming process helps when using images for publicity so we can appropriately credit your for your work. File names are changed during the jurying process to keep your submissions anonymous.

Please submit an image EVEN IF YOU WERE PREVIOUSLY JURIED.

DO NOT use a picture with people and logos prominently displayed in the booth. If you do not have a booth photo, please see our FAQs for more information.

Booth numbers and locations may change from previous years due to possible changes in the layout. We do our best to accommodate booth requests, but requests are not guaranteed. Every booth location is guaranteed to present your work to thousands of attendees. If you have any special needs or requests please let us know here.

The undersigned does hereby release, forever discharge, and hold harmless the Lewisburg Arts Council from all actions, suits, damages or claims whatsoever arising from any loss or damage to any property of the undersigned while in the possession or supervision of the Festival, its agents, representatives or employees and hereby consents to enforcement of all Festival rules. The undersigned understands that the submission of work to the Lewisburg Arts Festival and its sponsor, The Lewisburg Arts Council, constitutes an agreement of conditions set forth herein, considers this application a commitment to show and realizes that no refunds will be made for cancellations after 3/31/2025.

I acknowledge that I have read the conditions of entry and that if my work does not conform to the regulations and/or is misrepresented in my descriptions or images, or if I violate any of the Festival rules, the Committee reserves the right to request removal of objectionable items or to terminate my reservation without refund. If I am asked to leave for any reason, I will do so. No refunds will be issued if you close your booth/stand due to inclement weather.

Decisions of the Lewisburg Arts Council committees are final and binding.

The Lewisburg Arts Council is a 100% volunteer run organization. Our volunteers work hard to make your Arts Festival experience a positive one. We kindly ask for your patience in receiving responses to your email inquiries.
