Note: All animals listed for adoption are in the care and custody of the City of North Augusta Animal Control. Friends of North Augusta Animals (FONAA) partners with the City to promote adoptable animals. A copy of this application will also be provided to FONAA so volunteers can assist with pre-adoption questions and provide post-adoption support to adopters as needed.

I understand that owning a pet comes with the financial responsibility of providing food, basic vet care including yearly shots and exams, and funding in case the animal gets sick. Are you in a good financial situation to take care of this adopted animal and provide for his or her care?

I understand that every adopted animal from the North Augusta Pound must be spayed or neutered within 60 days of adoption. Puppies need to be spayed or neutered by age of 6 months. Failure to provide proof after this time period can result in a fine.
