Criteria for the REALTOR® Hall of Fame award:

A SMR member for at least 15 years or a long-time member dedicated to selflessly serving the association. (If you are a transfer member, a minimum of ten years of involvement at SMR is required, along with a proven record of involvement from your previous association.)
A demonstrated compilation of service to SMR committees, the Board, or any involvement that shows activity at the association level over their years of membership.
An avid cheerleader for the association within their firm(s) and throughout the community.
Bonus consideration for active involvement in the Montana Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®, including committee work and investment in RPAC and/or other programs that benefit membership as a whole.

REALTOR® of the Year Submission

Criteria for the REALTOR® of the Year award:

REALTOR® Spirit 15%: High principals, faithfulness to laws and regulations of the Code of Ethics and local Board, the furtherance of principles of good real estate practices among other brokers and the general public.
Civic Activity 20%: Local, state, and national level participation in civic and service clubs, charitable activities, political commissions, and fraternal or religious groups.
Business Accomplishments 20%: Recognized good business conduct, service to clients, educational participation, and effective and measurable marketing.
Local Association Activity 20%: Association/committee leadership and participation, association event participation.
State Association Activity 20%: Offices held, committee participation, attendance at state events/conventions, educational conferences.
National Association Activity 5%: Committee attendance/participation, convention attendance, membership in national Institutes, i.e., CRS, ABR.

Rookie of the Year

Criteria for the Rookie of the Year award:

Held a license for at least one (1) full year, but not more than 24 months by the application deadline.
Participation in association events and committees (40%).
Sales information for the time that the nominee has held their license (40%).
Submission of professional goals for the next 12 months (10%)
Submission of a sample of their marketing material for their business (10%)
Include 3 to 5 Letters of Recommendation (Must be in PDF format)
