• Gluten Free Cookie Request

    Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming will offer the gluten free (GF) Girl Scout Cookie again this year. Troops/Juliettes need to pre-order their supply of Gluten Free Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies by Monday October 19th. This pre-order is required by ABC Bakers due to the special requirements of gluten free production. This is the ONLY pre-order of gluten free cookies this year, you will receive what you ordered, and orders are binding.

  • If your troop/Juliette would like to request Gluten Free (GF) Caramel Chocolate Chip variety to sell during the 2027 Cookie Season, please carefully read ALL the details below and submit your order. Payment will be due in April at the same time as all other varieties.

    1. Girl Delivery Will Be Turned Off Council-Wide

    Girl Delivery will be disabled for gluten free cookies in Digital Cookie. This is because only caregivers (not troops) have the ability to disable this variety. With over 3,000 individual Girl Scouts participating in the Cookie Program, we’re unable to manage the disabling of Girl Delivery for those who didn’t order gluten free cookies.

    2. Why Must We Do a Pre-Order?

    Gluten free cookies are baked in a separate facility to maintain gluten free standards and are a higher cost. Our baker requires us to place a pre-order ahead of schedule to ensure production meets demands, therefore we need to fully understand our troops order needs are met.

    3. Gluten Free Is Not on the Order Card—How Can We Take Orders?

    If you place a pre-order, we’ll provide you with a separate form for girls to take Caramel Chocolate Chip orders on. However, it’s the troop’s responsibility to ensure that girls have this seperate order form, manage inventory, and ensure cookies aren’t oversold. This will help prevent any shortfalls or leftovers.

    4. Gluten Free Availability

    Since Gluten Free cookies are ordered by the full case, you may have extras after the initial delivery that can be sold at booths or in hand. If you are selling these cookies outside of booths or your initial orders, you can use the Digital Cookie Mobile App to sell them in person.
    Please note: Limited extras may be available in cupboards and will be distributed only to new troops who did not have an opportunity to pre-order.

    • Pre-orders are in CASE AMOUNTS only. (12 packages per case)
    • Proceeds will follow the same plan as all other cookie varieties sold.
    • The person that requested the order will be notified by email confirming their order in February before the Initial Order period. You will be provided an optional special order card to keep track of your GF inventory. 
    • Council will be entering your totals on the Initial Order for you. You will not have access to the Caramel Chocolate Chip variety in Smart Cookies.
    • Requested cookies will arrive with the Initial Cookie Order.
    • Gluten free cookies cannot be reutrned to Council.
    • Caramel Chocolate Chip cookies will NOT appear on the paper order card.

    5. New Additional Gluten Free Variety 

    New this year, GSUSA has partnered with Partake Foods to launch a new cookie that is gluten, nut, and allergen free as well as vegan! These Girl Scout Sparkables are only for purchase online with Direct Ship and may impact your online gluten free sales. Please take this into consideration with your customer base.

    I understand that the amount due for gluten free cookies will be included on our Troop/Juliette Balance Summary report in Smart Cookies after the Initial Order is placed.

    I understand the person who signs for the product (troop/caregiver) will be financially responsible for the cases that we requested to order and will need to pay for Gluten Free Cookies that have been sold or are in our possession as of the close of the Cookie Program on April 16, 2027.
