At least one of the following is true:*

(1) I now reside and have resided in my State as my “permanent and primary residence” for a period of at least ninety (90) consecutive days immediately prior to the date of the State Pageant. “Permanent and primary residence” or “Permanent and primary residency” means my true, fixed and permanent domicile which I intend to make my permanent home; OR(2) I have resided in the State as a full-time student at a school, college or university for one full semester, trimester or summer session immediately prior to the state pageant, and still enrolled as a full-time student at a school, college or university and will continue to reside in the state (although I may spend the summer in another state). For the avoidance of doubt, I will not satisfy the requirements of paragraph (2) if I reside in one state, and I am enrolled in an online school, college or university located in another state; OR(3) I retain full-time employment in the State (i.e., I work at least forty (40) hours per week in the State, and I qualify for employment benefits provided by my employer) and have maintained such full-time employment for a period of at least ninety (90) consecutive days prior to the date of the State Pageant.

MISS CONTESTANT: I agree that I was born during the year 2006 or before, that I am a United States citizen, and I represent and warrant that I am a female (recognized medically and legally as a female in the United States). I have never participated in a previous national MISS USA PAGEANT.TEEN CONTESTANT: I agree that I was born during the years 2006-2010, that I am a United States citizen, I represent and warrant that I am a female (recognized medically and legally as a female in the United States), I am single, I have never been married, I do not have a child, I have not given birth to a child, and I am not currently pregnant. I have never participated in a previous national MISS TEEN USA® PAGEANT.

I will not participate in any other pageant leading to a national pageant that may be similar in concept to that of the MISS USA/TEEN USA State Pageant, from the date this agreement is signed, until after the 2025 MISS USA/TEEN USA State Pageant. I further agree that my failure to keep and perform this aforesaid agreement shall, at the option of Greenwood Productions, and/or MISS USA/TEEN USA® Pageant, terminate my present status as a contestant and bar me from the MISS USA/TEEN USA State Pageant and/or any MISS USA/TEEN USA State Pageant preliminaries.I am and will continue to be a person of good moral character; I affirm that I have not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and conventions or that will reflect unfavorably on the pageant, its representatives, sponsors and/or licenses; that I have not appeared in the nude or provocative photographs for any film or publication prior to the MISS USA/TEEN USA State Pageant, nor will I during my reign should I become the State Winner or MISS USA/TEEN USA®.Neither I nor any member of my immediate family (i.e., mother, father, sister or brother) or anyone living in my household is currently, or has within the last two (2) years been, employed by or an officer, director or agent (including a volunteer worker) of any of the following: (1) Greenwood Productions, Inc., any company or enterprise they own or control, or of any company or enterprise under common ownership or control with them; or (2) The Miss USA Organization, VVV Global Ent., LLC, The Miss Universe Organization, JKN Universe, LLC, Ernst & Young (“EY”), any other entity or entities that we designate, or any of the subsidiaries, affiliates or related companies of the foregoing. (IF YOU OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY IS EMPLOYED BY ANY OF THE FOREGOING OR AFFILIATED WITH ANY OF THEM, YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR STATE DIRECTOR IMMEDIATELY, SO YOUR ELIGIBILITY MAY BE DETERMINED.)I understand and agree that all issues as to eligibility shall be determined by the Miss USA Organization and I agree to abide by that determination both as to myself (if I win my National Competition) and other applicants.I hereby apply for entry into the MISS USA/MISS TEEN USA at the state level, and the opportunity to compete in the national finals of the MISS USA/MISS TEEN USA Pageant.I understand and agree that my acceptance as a state finalist and my continued consideration for the title of MISS USA/MISS TEEN USA is under the sole and complete direction of my State Pageant Director.I understand and agree that if I am selected as the winner, all decisions concerning my preparation for the national pageant are to be made by my State Pageant Director.I hereby agree that the site, date, time, production, manner and method of judging of the state competition shall be solely within the discretion of my State Director and the decision of the judges shall be final.I understand and agree that if I am selected as the winner, all decisions concerning production, promotion, photographs, programs, appearances, and all the other aspects of the 2025 MISS USA/MISS TEEN USA Pageant(s), as well as throughout my reign, are solely at the discretion of my State Director.I further agree to permit my photograph, voice recording and name to be used without charge for all publicity and commercial purposes and any telecast of the state pageant and national pageants.I understand that I am free to withdraw from the competition at any time, but under no circumstances will I be entitled to a refund or transfer to another contestant any fee, either full or part, that I or my sponsor have paid. There will be absolutely no exceptions to this policy.I voluntarily disclose that prior to the date of this pageant, I have not engaged in any activities, which if disclosed to the public, would bring, or tend to bring, myself into disrepute, ridicule, or contempt.I understand that Greenwood Productions Inc. is only responsible for producing the State Preliminary Pageant and I will not hold them liable if for any reason beyond their control the national MISS USA or MISS TEEN USA Pageant does not occur.If paying any of my mandatory fees via PayPal or credit card, I agree to pay the 3.5 percent handling fee and agree not to dispute any PayPal or credit card charges following the competition. I understand that I am responsible for any money due if one of my sponsors disputes a PayPal or credit card payment after the competition.I understand that ALL FEES (registration fee and sponsorship fee) are non-refundable.
By the signature below, applicant or her parent/guardian (if contestant is under the age of 18) certifies that they have read and understand the rules and regulations as set forth within and that applicant meets the requirements and will comply with the rules and regulations stated.
